If I could only bake one thing for the rest of my life, I’m pretty sure it would be some sort of bread.
You can make it plain, you can make it sweet, you can make it savory. You can spread on some peanut butter, slather on some jam, or coat it in butter. Toasted or not. Grilled around some cheese, filled with spices and fruit, or diced and baked into breakfast or dessert.
Bread is like the little black of dress of food – it’s always a good idea.
Here are some of our favorites, and they’re all really easy to make! Don’t be scared of bread. Your oven is begging to bake a few loaves…I can hear it from here.
Rosemary and Olive Oil Farmhouse Bread
Pepperoni and Roasted Tomato Stromboli (using bread dough)
Sweet Breads
Whole Wheat Zucchini Chocolate Chip Bread
Cinnamon Sugar Fruit Swirled Bread
Cinnamon Pecan Rolls (using bread dough!)
Stuff to put on your bread
Stuff to make with leftover bread
Vanilla Maple Breakfast Bread Pudding
Tangy Ham and Cheese Bread Pudding
The Ultimate PB&J (grilled!)
Grilled Cheese with Apple and Rosemary Walnut Butter
French Toast with Salted Grapefruit Vanilla Butter

I totally agree with you, Brandi – bread is the best! I need to bake a loaf this coming weekend. Have you ever made brioche?
I love eating bread but don’t make it often enough, thank you for the inspiration!

Agreed! I’ve always wanted to make my own hamburger buns (and slider buns!) and yours look like perfection!
