You look great!!
I’m trying to figure out when to stop losing and when to start maintaining. Hearing that you have found a goal that seems to be a pretty good spot for you is encouraging to me!
I’ve been focused on BMI, but I may be tossing it out the window in favor of something a bit more personal— ME!
Oh, and a family cruise sounds like lots of fun too. Lucky girl!!
Thanks Sweetie! I think BMI is a good place to start and a good place to find a good range for you, but a lot of it is just finding where you’re happiest and where it’s easy to maintain. I think anyone could always “lose more”, but if it’s not easy to maintain, it’s just going to be frustrating and harder than it needs to be. Good luck finding your perfect place
Good luck! I am always trying to lose that bit extra but really should be maintaning! It is hard to know where is your best weight. Do you find?
Hi Emily! Thanks! Yeah, it’s always a hard thing – sometimes I’m completely happy at one point, but after losing the weight, it often feels weird if I’m NOT losing – does that make sense? Like I was used to being the losing mode for a while so it’s hard to change my mindset to “maintenance”.
You look beautiful! I’m so glad you listened to your bod and adjusted up. Living hungry is a drag!
Thanks Erin! I appreciate it
Inspirational. You look great!

You look so nice
I love the page and the new layout! GREAT!
Just saw you on dr. Oz, your recipes sound great!!! Blog bookmarked already.
thank you so much!!
I saw you on Dr. Oz so thanks to that Im here! Yay! Your receipes are awesome, just one question? Do you have the caloric numbers on the receipes or am I just missing it?
Thanks So Much!
Hi Teresa! No, you’re not missing it. I don’t currently post the nutritional information because I don’t have the software to run the recipes. They ran the 3 recipes that were on the show so he could tell the calories and fat, but I don’t have the ability to do that at this point. I’m looking into it for the future, though!
I too saw u on Dr. Oz, This is the first time I have ever been on a blog. Are you really gluten-free? And if so do you use plain old oatmeal or the gf?
Hi Vicky! Thank you so much for stopping by! I’m not totally GF and never said so – it just happened that the recipes I did on the show were gluten free, which worked out well since they were talking about it that day! I use regular oats, but I know you can get certified GF oats, too.
