4th of July and Summer Favorites

I love when Tuesdays are really Friday. I could get used to this schedule: work 2 days, 1 day off, work 2 more days, weekend. Why is this not the normal schedule already?

I don’t know what you have planned for the 4th of July, but I hope it involves time with family, friends, and some good food.

Right now, I’m thinking my day will be filled with NO alarm clocks, a morning run, early blueberry picking, maybe watching a friend’s band play, a possible lunch cookout with pals, and a huge firework show in town to end the night.

This just means I’ll probably be sunburnt, way too full, and super exhausted on Thursday morning. Fun!

We’re not having a cookout of our own so I don’t have to menu plan at all, but I may whip up something to take with us – cookies are patriotic, right?
