Are You Ready for Some Football?

Happy September 1st!

I am excited for a lot of reasons today:

- It’s September, one of my favorite months! This is when the weather gets just about perfect here.

- Fall is on its way (my favorite season, especially in Virginia)

- College football officially starts tonight!

That’s right. The moment I’ve been waiting on since January is finally here.

Nick is…scared of how crazy I’m going to be this year. I’m not! Winking smile

I love college football. I never even watched football until 7 years ago, and the obsession has slowly grown over the years. Now, it’s all I think about from August – January.

When I first started watching, I didn’t really know anything about the game (except that I should cheer when other people were cheering). I still miss a lot of things in the game and I don’t know all the positions, but the more I’ve watched, the more I’ve picked up.

And I completely forgot about my football posts I did 2 years ago!

I’ll be watching tonight, (maybe) tomorrow night, all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

I am SO jazzed to cheer on my beloved HAWKEYES!!!! I don’t really get into to the NFL, but college football is so exciting to watch!

There is so much anticipation for this season for me. I am a buckeye alum and fan – need I say more? I don’t get into the NFL but I definitely sit on the couch every Saturday all season and watch every game that it on!

I blame @thenheathersaid for me being excited about College football. I can’t watch all the games but I know a lot more and have a favorite team (not the Hokies – her influence was stronger). But I’m excited to understand more what all the tweets flying around will be about.
