White Wine Peach Sangria

I think this is the first drink recipe I’ve posted.

Pop the bubbly!

I’ve been blogging for 2.5 years and haven’t posted one drink recipe? How does that happen?

I’ve had great sangria in the past, but have always been a little leery of trying to make up my own recipe.

I just don’t know enough about wine (or alcohol in general) to know what would taste good mixed together so I never tried. But Nick and I had plans this weekend, I had decided on bringing both a salad and a drink, and I finally decided to just go for it.

The local peaches have been so incredibly sweet this summer, and I knew I wanted to use them in my sangria. Those, along with some local plums and an orange, soaked in some wine and spirits until all the little fruit bits were saturated and happy.

Or, I’m just going to assume they were happy. Because this sangria made me happy.

Wine soaked peach bits are okay for a snack, yes?
