I’m Loving…

Woah – this weekend went by so fast!

Nick and I went to his parents’ for the weekend and got to spend time with his parents, his sister and brother-in-law and our nephew, his parents, my parents, and my older sister.

It was a full house: 11 people. 4 dogs. 1 baby. And a ton of fun Smile We held an Easter egg hunt/bunny treat trail for our nephew on Sunday morning for his first Easter.

And we ate. A lot. And so much good food. Beef soup, homemade biscuits and gravy, grilled chicken and bean salads, ham and mac’n’cheese and broccoli salad. Plus an incredible lemon pound cake we made that I didn’t get the chance to photograph – it went fast!

We got back last night just in time for Nick to mow a little bit of the yard and for me to go get a few groceries. And now I just can’t believe it’s Monday morning again.

I’ve got some fun recipes coming, but in the meantime, here are some of the things I’m loving today.

Local produce. These green onions from the farmer’s market are the best green onions I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to buy more this weekend.

I won this headband in a giveaway from Cait at A Bicycle Built for Two – isn’t it cute? She made it! I love it and can’t wait to find outfits to build around the colors and prints.

These pictures of Tiff and Maggie from last weekend crack me up every time I see them.

Maggie was pretty worn out, but she came over, sat on Tiff’s feet with her ball in her mouth, and then started to fall asleep.

She just doesn’t want to miss out on anything.

And that lazy sit of hers is hilarious.

This picture of us. I think it’s a good representation of us on any given day  Winking smile

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with family and celebrating Easter together. We had great weather, good food, and a lot of laughs and baby kisses.

Happy Monday! Back to work for me.
