I Love Grocery Shopping (Giveaway)

by admin on March 4, 2011

One of my favorite things to do is grocery shop. I like finding new products to try, and I love finding great deals.

In my town, I only have a few choices of grocery stores and my store of choice is always Kroger. They seem to carry the most variety and, as long as I follow their weekly deals, I don’t spend any more there each week than I would at a cheaper place. Plus, the quality is SO much better than the other stores here.

If you live near a Kroger (or Kroger family store), you probably know about their Cart Buster Savings Event!

Basically, from February 27th through March 12th, Kroger and its family of stores put on their biggest-ever promotion and you can find the best and lowest prices around on more than 35 brands, across more than 60 categories from General Mills, P & G, Nestle, Pepsi and Kroger Banner Brands. During the Cart Buster Savings Event, you´ll find great savings in almost every department at the Kroger Family of Stores, which includes Kroger, Ralph´s, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith´s, Fry´s, QFC, Baker´s, Owen´s, Jay C Food Stores, Hilander, Gerbes, Food4Less, Pay Less Super Markets and Scott´s Food & Pharmacy.

Want to know some of the items on sale during the event?

Multigrain Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Progresso, Green Giant, Cascadian Farm, Tide, Charmin, Bounty, Pampers, Pantene, Crest, Iams, Febreze, Old Spice, Bounce, DiGiorno´s, Nestle Toll House, Juicy Juice, Coffee-Mate, Edy´s, Stouffer´s, Lean Cuisine, Hot Pockets, Nestle Candy, Purina and more!

When I went shopping last weekend, I stocked up on all kinds of things:

  • Kroger brand canned tomatoes
  • Kroger brand olives
  • Nestle chocolate chips
  • Cascadian Farm frozen fruits
  • toothpaste
  • paper towels
  • laundry detergent
  • frozen veggies
  • and more!

Thanks to the Kroger Family of Stores, General Mills/Nestle/P&G , and MyBlogSpark, I was able to take advantage of the special deals going on right now at Kroger with a giftcard and you can, too!

To enter to win your own $25 giftcard to any Kroger family of stores:

Leave a comment telling me what YOU plan to stock up on!

Good luck! I’ll be picking the winner Thursday, 3/10.

Looking for even more ways to add money to your pocket? Visit Facebook.com/Kroger to participate in their "Deal of the Day" promotion! During each day of Kroger´s Cart Buster Savings Event, be one of the first 1000 people to click on the deal link and receive a free load-to-card coupon for the featured daily item.

I LOVE Kroger!! I used to think it was more expensicve to shop there than at WalMart..but I save a ton of money by buying their brands and shopping the sales. :) I stock up on bananas mainly! Which is even better because they have “overripe” bananas priced even lower.

We have QFC here and they have the best cottage cheese – weird, I know. They don’t all taste the same. Oh, and the usual suspects: toilet paper, detergent, kale, oranges, oatmeal.
Thanks!
