I just got back from a fun blogger meetup with the lady behind She’s Becoming Doughmesstic!
I know – I never, ever thought I would meet another food blogger that lives so close to me, but I did.
While we didn’t have a lunch date (she was busy baking cupcakes while I was visiting), it was so much fun to sit and talk blogs with someone.
And I feel a bit more doughmesstic now :) I’m so excited to know another blogger out here. It’s fun to know that you have someone to talk to about all things blog. I mean…some of my neighbors out here don’t even have internet, so it’s hard to explain a blog to them.
I took a little longer lunch break today to have time to hang out, so I’m back at my desk, eating and working, counting down the hours until the Avett Brothers concert tonight.
We’re eating on the way to the show tonight, so it was leftover black bean soup for lunch + salad.

It’s been a good day so far, and it’s only going to get better :) I cannot wait for this concert.

best concert was sophomore year of college – i saw ani di franco and decided to become a women’s studies major after!
Best concert was Local Natives this past summer. The opening acts weren’t too shabby but they totally killed it. They were fun and I had so much fun there!
