Super Seven

Coffee is calling! Monday morning came way too fast – I need another day to recover!

Quick weekend recap:

– On Saturday, I ran 7 miles! And the best part – it was a great run! I felt really good the entire time, the weather was perfect, and I was just excited to be outside. Funny enough…the last (and first and only) time I ran 7 miles was almost an entire year ago.

– Nick and I drove up to his parents’ house on Saturday afternoon to see some friends that were in town from Honduras.

– My dinner yesterday was a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip milkshake from Kline’s. Super good and spicy!

After getting home and unpacking last night, we took it easy and watched some football + House Hunters before turning in.

Since we didn’t leave until Saturday afternoon, I was able to get groceries before heading out of town which meant no last minute trip out last night.

And I’m stocked with pumpkin yogurt supplies this week!

Today’s breakfast: oatmeal/egg white pancake topped with pumpkin + greek yogurt + cinnamon. Fruit and coffee on the side.

Time for work!

What did you do this weekend?

Best thing you ate? Mine was definitely that milkshake OR the grilled turkey Bob made.

  1. Great job on 7 miles! I’m working my way back up to 4 miles. Best thing I ate (but worse thing for me) was the cinnamon fried cake with fresh cider at the Farmer’s market/pumpkin patch with my kids. It was worth every bite. Then we came home and raked ALOT of leaves.

  2. Hmmm…probably the Roasted Butternut Squash & Apple Soup I made with some cheesy, caramelized onion beer bread. Yum! :)
