Good morning!
Is it weird that I’m always 10 times happier on days I don’t have to go to work? ;)
We had a nice morning with no alarm clocks – and this will be the last day that happens for a long time. Tomorrow we’ll be getting up around 1:30 am to get ready and on the road!
Breakfast was another chance to eat everything that’s left in the fridge!
Nick cooked up the last of the bacon and some eggs for us, while I got some fruit prepped and sliced up some of my apricot walnut bread.
Still delicious, but it was even better the other day right when it came out of the oven! I do love all the pieces of chewy apricot and crunchy walnuts.
Plus some of our Papua New Guinea Peaberry. Yum.
We’re all cuddling on the couch and watching the news, trying to put off packing :)
Better get to it! We’ve got a lot to do.

Apricot walnut bread sounds fabulous!! I hate packing and I’m such a procrastinator about it!! ;)
Looks delicious! (And I hate packing, so I totally understand the “putting off” factor.)
That fruit is screaming my name. I must go grocery shopping soon or I’m going to go crazy :)
1:30 is so early! Have a safe trip!
