I’m really hoping we either get out to Glen Alton or the park today and really, really hoping my stomach keeps getting better so I can run later. It’s beautiful today! And we need to be outside.
Just got back from the farmers market + grocery store + hair salon. I got most of the items we need for our trip, but we’ll be taking a trip to Target later today or tomorrow to get the last few things (aleve, travel hand sanitizer, single-serving nuts and trail mix).
That breakfast really filled me up! I didn’t want too much for lunch, but it was 1:30 when I got home so I knew I needed to eat.
Protein, fruit, veggies – check!
- 1 packet Amazing Grass Pomegranate Mango meal
- 3-4 cups spinach
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- ice
Blend.
Plus about a cup of cantaloupe and some raspberries.
This may be my favorite fruit combination. I love cantaloupe with berries.
Nick’s working on the brakes on the car so I guess I’ll get working on laundry while I have the time to do stuff inside.
Dinner should be good…and I’m hoping for a fun dessert date, but we’ll see how the day goes!

How does the amazing grass powder taste? I’ve seen it in stores but always imagine it’d taste like..well..grass lmho. :P
It’s a little grassy, but I like it! I never make it by itself – I always blend in some milk or almond milk and some sort of fruit or juice. I really like the chocolate meal and the pom. mango flavors.
I’ve always been nervous to try the amazing grass.
I need to head to the grocery store tomorrow to re-stock my fruit stash. Nothing better than a watery, sweet cantaloupe.

i’ve been really into melon and berries lately too – i’ve been having watermelon and blueberries. so pretty!
