Ever heard of a snackaroon?
I hadn’t until a few months ago, but I’m so glad I did!
Nick and I have been fighting over the last of these mini chocolate snackaroons I bought from from Blue Mountain Organics a while ago, but I made sure to keep one to top my oatmeal today.
They’re. just. so. good.
First – look at these ingredients!
Coconut, Agave, Cacao, BTR Cashews. That’s it!
Second – they taste like my mom’s no bake cookies, just without the sugar and butter. Delicious!
Today’s bowl of oats was all about highlighting the snackaroon…and my craving for a bit of melty pb ;)
What can I say? Heather’s pb + chocolate filled posts have been getting to me!
Today’s mix:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup water
- pinch salt
- cinnamon
- diced strawberries
Topped with 1 Tbsp pb and 1 crumbled chocolate snackaroon!
Friday breakfasts should be a little more fun than the rest of the week – strawberries, pb, and chocolate sound like the perfect way to start my weekend :)
It’s Friday!!!
Maggie’s ready to start the weekend – and so am I! We have some fun plans, starting tomorrow!

I need to try some of those snackaroons! Where did you find them?
Have a fun weekend!
I bought them from Blue Mountain Organics (linked in the post), but all their products are available online!
I would love to try those! You know I’m a coconut NUT!
Those look great! Where did you buy them?
Ooo I’ve never heard of a snackaroon–yummy!
I need to try those!
if they taste like no bake cookies I have to try them!! I love how they seem so soft and chewy!!
your oats look FABULOUS by the way! so decedant :)
I am pretty sure that looks like the best bowl of oats I have ever seen!
Anything that tastes like no bake cookies and are actually good for you seem perfect to me!! Where’d you find them so I can hunt them down?
oh whoops, nix that last part! haha..but maybe Whole Foods or EarthFare has them, too? Hopefully!
They do carry their items at some Whole Foods, actually! And everything can be ordered online.
Those look delicious…your breakfast always looks SO much better than any bowl of oatmeal I’ve ever made!
Things with simple ingredient lists of things I can eat. I couldn’t be happier :-)
Yum they look really good. I just recently purchased cacao nips and I’m really excited to use them in my next bath of overnight oats.
After reading this, I’m trying t figure out how I can incorporate chocolate into my breakfast… ;)
Oh wow! I am sitting here eating my “morning” oatmeal, and your bowl just trumped my little bowl’s butt. That looks delish!
I’ve never heard of Snackaroon’s, but they look fantastic!
