Another great smoothie from my HealthMaster!
After seeing the frozen hot chocolate Jessica posted, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
I didn’t have all the ingredients she used, but it still turned out really good.
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
- cocoa powder
- NuNaturals Vanilla Stevia
I definitely want to try adding the frozen greek yogurt in this mix – I bet it’s even better! And whipped cream is always a good thing, but I didn’t have any on hand.
Work was work, and I had some computer issues for the last hour of the day but it looks like everything is back to normal. Thank goodness! I don’t want to start the weekend with problems.
Dinner was sloppy – in a good way!
As a part of the TasteMaker Program, Foodbuzz and Nature’s Pride sent me some of their new bakery style buns to try.
I love Nature’s Pride breads! And these buns are great – hearty, full of whole grains, but still soft and fluffy.
What goes better with buns than Sloppy Joe’s?
I cooked some humane-ground beef with onion and then added tomato paste, ketchup, regular and dijon mustard, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper and let that simmer while I got some salad ingredients ready.
Funny enough, Nick and I both ate our Joes open-faced tonight! I just make such a mess trying to eat them like a real sandwich that I always have my sloppy joes open-faced with a fork.
We just got back from what is turning out to be our nightly routine: a 1 mile walk with our little neighbor Eric and Maggie.
It is still extremely hot and muggy, so 1 mile is enough! But I’m really glad we go.
Now I’m kicked back on the couch catching up on Glee! I’m officially addicted. What have I been missing?!?

i love your frozen hot chocolate! i’ve had serendipity’s version a few times, but it’s a bit too much for me.
Nature’s Pride is so good! I finished off those rolls last week ;)
Mmm Sloppy Joes! But we always called them Sloppy Janes. ‘Cause, ya know..women rock ;) haha
oh wow- the frozen hot chocolate would totally hit the spot right about now!!
I love having the frozen greek yogurt in it – makes for a great texture!
Mmmm, sloppy joes are on the menu for tonight! :)
Ok now I have to make this drink! Saw it on Jessica’s blog this morning and now I’m thinking about it again…! Looks so yummy!
A nightly walk with Maggie sounds wonderful. Hunni and I want to take a walk with the dogs on Sunday.
