Here’s one weird thing about me:
Whenever it’s windy, cold, windy and cold, or just the majority of the time I’m running outside, my eyes tear up and I end up with tears running down my cheeks. I have to wipe my eyes / cheeks with my shirt or sleeves or hands at least 10 times in a 30 minute run.
It’s pretty annoying, and I’m sure it makes me look like I just hate running so much that I’m crying about it ;)
The good thing about running early? I don’t have to run later today when it’s 90 degrees outside!
Nick and I got up and ran a little over 3 miles this morning and I just finished my cool breakfast.
Oats in (a) Jam!
I knew we were going to go running this morning, and I just can’t make myself have a hot breakfast right after running on a warm morning so I made sure to mix up some overnight oats last night.
The oat mixture:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp walnuts
- 1/2 banana, sliced
There was about 1 tsp of jam left in this jar, and it was the perfect amount! That little bit of jam was the perfect amount.
Coffee is brewing and I’ve got work to do.
Favorite flavor of jam / jelly?
I love a good raspberry or strawberry jam. But it’s hard to beat classic grape on a pb&j.
