Home Sweet Pizza

We’re finally home!

This weekend was just crazy again after getting back into the states on Thursday night.

We stayed that night at my parents, drove to Nick’s parents’ on Friday to stay with them/pick up Maggie and Roxy, and finally got to our house last night around 7:30.

After unpacking our backpacks, eating some pizza we picked up on the way home, and changing into my pajamas…I didn’t do anything else but cuddle and watch Olympics last night :) It was great.

We had to be to church early for sound today, so breakfast was good, but kind of quick. We had some eggs, cara cara oranges, and some of Nick’s dad’s sourdough bread he sent with us.

Thankfully, we had enough pizza leftover from last night for lunch today!

I had one slice of pizza with a BIG salad. I’m trying to get in all the fruits and veggies I missed on the trip.

I’ve got so much laundry to do, it’s a little ridiculous. Nick washed his stuff at my parents, but I didn’t do mine, so I’ve got a hamper full and my laundry bag to go through this afternoon.

I’m about to start one load and run up to get groceries so we can actually have dinner tonight ;)

Are we really back already? I’m definitely NOT ready for work tomorrow.

  7. You have to go straight back to work? That’s a bummer. Can’t wait to see pics, though!

  8. I’m glad you are back. I can’t wait to see all your wonderful pictures.

I hate the post trip laundry piles. They take forever because I’m still in vacation mode.

  9. Soooo Spain is a bit lacking in the fruits & veggies department then?? hahaha– this may be a problem if I plan on living there for an entire SEMESTER!!!!!!!

I’d love to hear your input on any of the cities you visited if you have the time :)

And hmm now you’ve got me craving some pizza!

    • Hi Jess!

What cities are you looking at? The only big city we got to visit was Madrid, which was nice, but I’ve heard Barcelona is better.

I LOVED Toledo and Valencia, but I’m not sure if those are options. If not, you should at least try to visit both!

      How exciting :)

Oh, and Spain has places to BUY lots of fruits/veggies, but there didn’t seem to be many in the restaurants we ate at.
