First Breakfast Back in the U.S.

Good morning!!!

We are back in Virginia, safe and sound, and just had our first breakfast back in the states :)

My mom made us a veggie scramble with eggs, mushrooms, onions, red pepper, and olive oil. Ah – having veggies for breakfast was SO good!

Most breakfasts in Spain were coffee, juice, and either toast or a croissant, so this breakfast felt super gourmet ;)

I also tried a crumpet for the the first time ever (topped with some apple butter), turkey sausage, and some apple.

Plus 2 cups of coffee.

We got to my parents’ house last night around 8:30 and had dinner with my Mammaw (chicken casserole, to be exact). Then we all got in bed around 9:30 last night!

Everyone is just so tired and worn out, but the trip was amazing.

We haven’t even started looking through our pictures yet, but I can’t wait to see what shots we got.

I’ve got to go dry my hair, and Nick and I are getting on the road soon to travel to his parents’ house so we can pick up Maggie and Roxy :) I’m so excited to see them! I bet Maggie is huge now.

Fun stuff!

Nature’s Pride posted all of the Bread Ambassador’s recipes from the Foodbuzz Festival, along with a video – so fun! I wish I could do that every few months – it was such a great experience.
