1 week from today, I’m going to be on a plane headed to Madrid!!! I still can’t believe it.
I’m so excited for this trip – and even more excited to see my sister and her husband and to be able to spend the week traveling with family. Ah! I just can’t believe it’s so soon already.
Right before Nick got home, I finished this bag of dried peaches that I got at the Foodbuzz Festival. I love these peaches from Frog Hollow Farm!
They look burnt, but they taste like a perfectly ripe peach.
Nick and I had to run up to the store tonight to get some stuff for the trip and this weekend (in case this storm hits bad tomorrow). We had the most random collection of stuff in our cart!
- Kennel for Roxy while we’re gone
- SD cards for the camera
- travel shampoo and facewash
- butter
- chocolate chips
- sugar
- bananas
- coffee
- cheap flip flops for the trip
- razor blades for Nick
Of course, everyone else in town was in the store, too. The ice/snow is supposed to start late tonight or super early tomorrow morning, so I’m glad we went and got what we needed.
Since we got pizza last night, we had some of the leftover ravioli and peas for dinner tonight. Easy!
We just finished eating and are playing with Maggie right now – she’s in her crazy post-dinner stage.
I hope she calms down soon! At least in time for the new Office tonight ;)
