A Bad Bite

Today was going well…until we were eating dinner.

I don’t know what it is, but right when I was finishing my meal, I just started feeling sick.

Don’t you hate that?

Especially when it tasted good until the one bite that ruins everything?

Nick and I went to the local Mexican place for dinner and I ordered the veggie fajitas.

All was going well until the last bite. I don’t know what it was, but my stomach just turned and I’ve been feeling pretty gross since then. I haven’t actually gotten sick, but I do not feel good.

We’re home now, watching the football game and trying to get Maggie to calm down and cuddle :)  We’ll see if that happens.

I think a cup of hot tea is in order.

What is the best thing to cure an upset stomach?

I know ginger is supposed to help, as well as peppermint tea.

Aww I hope you feel better soon.
I’ve heard burnt toast does wonders(is it weird that I also somewhat enjoy that burnt flavor?)

we have something called intesol….it’s a natural pill basically with peppermint in it. it often helps any stomach problems i have. but if you don’t have it, go ahead with the peppermint tea.

If you figure out how to cure it, let me know–mine has been acting up again at night and nothing has worked for me. Peppermint, ginger ale, soda crackers, milk, Maalox overdose…nadda.

I’ve never heard of burnt toast, though.

Aw, feel better! :-( When I have an upset stomach, for some odd reason a nice warm bath always helps? Weird, but maybe you could give it a try!

Aw, poor Brandi. An upset stomach sucks…In Korea, we poke the fingertips to let out some blood or something…uh, I don’t recommend you do that.

Stupid bellyaches can definitely ruin a good time–sometimes I think I get them because I eat too much fiber. Hope you feel well soon!
