Burning Questions

Happy humpday lunchtime! Thank goodness the week is halfway over – I have a feeling work will not be letting up anytime soon, and I’m ready for a break.

Leftovers are even better when it was an awesome meal in the first place, right? I’ve been looking forward to lunch today since last night.

I brought some leftover oven fries with chili and scallions

Plus some blurry roasted broccoli.

And some grapes that I forgot I already had at work.

I also just took a quick 10 minute walk with Nick just to get some fresh air – today is beautiful! Wish I was outside instead of in here.

I’ve been getting a few questions in emails lately (which I love!) and thought I would put this out there.

Are there any things you want to know about me, Nick, Roxy, etc?

Anything you’ve been dying to ask but haven’t?

Like why I’m a freak about college football?

Or how in the world Nick puts up with my football antics? :) I may let him answer that one.

I thought it would be fun to answer some questions in some posts, so ask away! It can be about anything.

You can either email me with it or leave it in the comments and I’ll start answering these soon.

There have been some big changes lately and one more big one on Friday, too, so look out! Should be fun.

Want some coconut oil? I know I do! Check out the giveaway over at Eat Clean, Live Green!

  1. I want to know your feelings on pro football :) woo hoo! I always look forward to my next meal haha even if its like 4 days from now. I’m actually looking forward to Friday’s breakfast..why? who knows!

  2. I would love to know more about your college foot ball obsession. I never got into it so I would love to see why you did.

I would love to know more about Jovenes and how you got involved in that ministry.

I would love to know more about a day in the life of you and your family.

And I would love to know about your racing/running. I know you do it but are you training for a race or do you just enjoy it.

  3. Here’s my question (well, 3 questions): where do you see yourself in 1 year? 5 years? 10 years?

  4. I know you’ve probably said this before, but did you and Nick meet in college?

  5. oh free reign to ask you questions?? I shall take full advantage of this :)

I guess i’ll start easy.. how long have you and nick been together? how did you meet?

  6. I was going to make baked potatoes for dinner, but now I’m thinking oven fries….

  7. Those leftovers look divine! No doubt about it. I cannot wait to tuck into my leftovers from last nights dinner. It’s gonna be another cheese fest!

  8. Great leftover lunch, I love anything chili, especially in the fall!
I think you should work for sportscenter or something, usually men like football more, but you seen to like it more than Nick, is that true?
I love fooball but wouldn’t be that into it if it weren’t for my husband!

  9. What do you do at your job exactly? Do you + Nick work for the same company?

  10. while i don’t care to hear a word about football, it would be fun to hear more about where “in here” is.. i am not quite sure since i am a fairly new reader!

  11. Hi Brandi

I love all the questions already and cant wait for your answers…

What made you start a blog?
When are U going to give Roxy a brother or a sister?

  12. Oh yes I’d love to know the story of how you and Nick met! And what exactly your job is. It seems interesting.

The fries look just as good today. Yum!

  13. i agree with my girl Jenny. Tell us how long you and the hubby have been together! :) true love birds right there!

  14. My question is a little bit different.
Having reached your weight goal, do you still follow the Weight Watchers program as is (counting points, etc). I’m curious as to what most people do once they reach goal and only have to weigh in once a month.

  15. Yum, your lunch reminds me of chili cheese fries(errr..minus the cheese)!

Yes, now that you mention ‘questions,’ what is it that you do that you get to work from home? (luckyyyyy)

How did you and Nick meet?

  16. What a great lunch! I love it when I have great leftovers and can look forward to them all morning (versus the not so great/questionable concoctions I sometimes come up with…).

  17. Hmmm B, what could I ask you?!?!!? How about if you could pick one thing to eat everyday what would it be? I think I know almost everthing about you…
