Bagel Friday

These locally made bagels are soooo good!

I think I need to find a way to have one every Friday morning.

Plus, I’ve never been able to find whole wheat everything bagels, but I can now! And it just makes it better that they’re fresh and have ingredients I can pronounce.

This morning ,we were up early enough to make our bagel sandwiches.

I scrambled 3 eggs for us to share and sliced up our last 2 farmer’s market peaches  :(  while Nick worked on the bacon.

What a fun and tasty way to start off the weekend.

Happy Friday!

What’s your favorite kind of bagel and topping?

  1. whole wheat everything?! That’s amazing! It’s my favorite kind of bagel :)

I love PB & jam or eggs & bacon on mine.

    Have a great Friday!

  2. I love that they had whole wheat everything bagels, and that it looks like they had seasonings on both sides–not just the top! As for my preference, I love a big bagel that’s a little firm on the outside, but soft and delicious on the inside so I can just eat it plain–no toasting necessary.

However, sometimes you have to toast so you can put that butter, PB or cream cheese. I prefer whole wheat/grainy varieties, but once in awhile I like a honey oat, sourdough or blueberry…

  3. Mmmmm… bagels. I love whole wheat or blueberry topped with peanut butter.

  4. What a freaking delicious bfast. Perfect for a Friday :) I like whole wheat bagels and pumpkin! Topping? Hmm plain or tomato/avocado

  5. breakast looks yumm!! i was always a cinnamon raison for some reason lol. but now i totally love anything wheat! yum

  6. That bagel looks so good! I love sesame bagels, and also asiago cheese bagels. Plain cream cheese is my fave!

  7. Those look so fresh and good! I love a cinnamon raisin bagel with some light whipped cream cheese. My classic fav :-)

  8. I love everything or salt bagels… and scallion cream cheese.

  9. I like to use bagels as burger buns sometimes. I put a TJ’s chile lime chicken burger and some laughing cow with hummus or avocado (or both). So yummy and filling. But I like your egg sandwich too :-)

  10. Wow, I’ve never wanted a bagel more in my life! :)
My absolute favorite is plain or onion bagel with cream cheese, lox and capers! MMMMMMM

  11. YUM! This bagel looks great. My favorite is a cinnamon crunch bagel from Panera with Low Fat Hazelnut cream cheese.

  15. Ooooooooh Brandi that looks AMAZING!!! I’d be full for hours on that breakfast!!! :D I haven’t had a bagel in years, but I guess salmon & cream cheez would be my absolute favorite topping. Followed by the cinnamon cruncher bagel from Panera for the sweet rather than savory bagel. ;)

  16. I was soo excited just by looking at your bagel pics! hehe you know my fav! Cinnamon crunch with hazelnut cream cheese form PANERA!!!!

  17. Mmmm, yummy looking bagel. We no longer have any place locally that makes good ones (at least that I am aware of) and I miss them. Good, fresh baked bagels reminds me of lunch after church on Sundays when I was in uni. We used to pick them up on the way home, along with some tasty cream cheese flavors, as a quick lunch when we got home. Good memories! :)

  18. And the above comment about cinnamon crunch with hazelnut cream cheese from Panera is making me want to take another trip to my in-laws in Atlanta, as we do not have Panera in Canada!!

  19. Yum looks delicious! I love Panera’s Asiago cheese bagel, but it’s definitely an indulgence. I wish they made it in whole wheat!

  20. I love bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and bagels!
