We have so many strawberries in our house! I bought about 2-3 times what we normally eat since we had family here this weekend, but we didn’t eat as many as I thought we would. I guess now it’s up to Nick and me to get through them.
It’s a good thing we both love strawberries.
This bowl had:
- 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, pinch salt
- 1/3 banana, sliced
- 1/2 -1 cup strawberries, mixed in and on top
- cinnamon!
- 1 Tbsp pecan pieces
I love strawberries + pecans together. Adding those to oatmeal just makes it even better :)
Plus a small cup of chocolate milk this morning.
Sometimes, you just need something chocolatey in the morning!
I’m kind of excited to have this many strawberries – I’m working up a fun dessert to have tonight that should use some of them, too. Yay for fresh berries!

Strawberries are definitely my favorite!!
blueberries. blackberries. I can’t choose, and I love me some raspberries and strawberries too.
Why o why do I have to choose?
Ok, if you make me I shall choose blackberries, but I rarely get them for some reason.

Strawberries used to be my favorite, but blackberries have taken over the #1 spot.
We have a ton of strawberries too!! Huge SURPLUS for three people! I guess my favorite berry would be strawberry but apples reign supreme in terms of fruit. Then pineapples ;)
Blackberries or raspberries. I ate way to many strawberries in the spring so I just haven’t wanted them lately. And I’ve never been to fond of blueberries, gasp!

I love strawberries too! They might be my favorite berry. Though I’ve never had a blackberry as good as those we picked in VA. Might be a new fav?

It depends on my mood but usually raspberries… and strawberries are a close second!
I LOVE all berries – fantastic oats!
Love me some strawberries, and the dessert options are endless. They’re great on fruit pizza, parfaits, chocolate covered, etc. and last week I made a super easy dip for berries with just (organic) yogurt–any flavor–with a bit of brown sugar mixed in. People went nuts.
Personally, I would prefer a bowl of your breakfast. Yum!

We’ve got a ton of strawberries too….every week I get 3 pints from the farmers market for $5. it seems like too good a deal to pass up!
