Keeps Going and Going…

I took some pain meds last night and they seemed to help enough that I could go to sleep, and I did sleep pretty well last night. Once I got up this morning, though, the headache was back. It doesn’t seem to be as bad as it was yesterday afternoon, so I’m going to go to work today and see how I feel later.

I didn’t have enough time to make the breakfast I wanted to make, but this one was still good.

oats3

  • 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, pinch salt
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup or so frozen mixed berries
  • cinnamon

Plus a hard boiled egg + cup of milk

I also made some coffee this morning so I can take that with me – maybe the caffeine will kick this thing to the curb? I hope so.

  1. While reading your post I was thinking that maybe you are going through caffeine withdrawls! EEEK!!! I hope the coffee helps! What were you planning on making cuz those oats look scrumptious! Have a fabulous day!

  2. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling better :( Maybe the coffee will do the trick. It usually helps me when I have a headache.

  3. Ohhh yea, I wonder if it is caffeine withdrawls? If I don’t drink coffee, I get the worst headache! Your breakfast looks really yummy. I hope your headache goes away!

  4. I’m sorry you still have the headache! A lot of headache pills contain caffeine so maybe coffee will help (just make sure your painkillers don’t also have caffeine or you might be a little jittery!)

    have a good day Brandi!

  5. My mom’s migraine trick is 4 motrin and a think of coke (the drink, not the drug ;) ). Hope your headache goes buhbyes!!

  6. I was going to say the same thing as ksgoodeats. A Dr once told me to take 2 Tylenol and drink a regular Coke.

  7. So sorry about the headache, I once had a headache that lasted more then a week so I know your pain. Hope the coffee helps as caffeine usually helps me.

  8. if it takes much longer to go away, i’d recommend seeing your doctor. i had a string of headaches over the course of a few weeks in college and i ended up getting a Rx from my doc that managed to break them up. apparently your brain can get into a rhythm or something where the headaches can stimulate future headaches and you need a medicine to break the cycle. hope this helps!
