Battle of the Berries

Good morning!

I’m awake, but still kinda groggy and loopy from the pain meds – work should be fun, huh?  :)

I realized last night that I’ve had eggs in some form the past 4 breakfasts, so I decided against having them today. Good thing, because this bowl was just what I wanted.

oatbran

  • 1/2 cup oatbran, 1 cup water, pinch salt
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • cinnamon
  • 3-4 strawberries, sliced
  • handful blackberries and raspberries
  • big glob of crunchy almond butter

oatbran

No milk with breakfast this morning – I have another doctor’s appoinment at 9:45 this morning, and I’m planning on getting a latte.

Here’s hoping everything else is okay! I feel much better so I’m guessing nothing is wrong, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. The only thing that still hurts is my neck, but it will take a while to heal since it’s soft tissue.

Do you like crunchy or creamy?
