You Lose Some, You Tie Some

The soccer games were so much fun to watch – it is beautiful outside, but super windy! Like 25 mile an hour winds. My hair was a rat’s nest by the time we got back! You can’t tell how windy it was from this picture, but it does show how clear our skies are today.

Finally! It’s been raining here almost every day for 2 weeks, so I’ve been waiting for a day like this.

Our youngest neighbor’s team lost their game, but they played well! The older brother’s team tied their game, and it was a good game, too.

We got back to the house around 1:30 and were ready for lunch.

I had Nick cook up some fajita chicken (strips of chicken, onion, green pepper, sliced tomato) along with some chipotle peppers, smoked paprika…and I don’t know what else he put in there. I, of course, had to get in my huge taco salad!

From the bottom up:

  • fat free refried beans
  • corn
  • fajita chicken mixture
  • romaine
  • avocado

Yum  :)

I’m off to work on laundry, and then? Date night! I’m excited for dinner!
