and….back to work :\ I’m really glad I feel better today, but I still wish I was staying home – it’s nice to have a day home sometimes.
Breakfast was back to basics for me – my original oatmeal concoction (aka, the only way I would eat it for a while):
- 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, pinch salt
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
- lots of cinnamon!
Add on a cup of milk and a hard boiled egg – one of my favorite and most filling breakfasts.
Today is our long day: work, then group. Tuesdays are always good days, but we usually don’t get home until around 9 pm so it makes for a long day. I am excited for lunch and dinner, though!
What’s your favorite non-workout workout? You know…the activity that doesn’t feel like you’re working out because you’re having so much fun or you just don’t think of it as a “workout”?
Mine would be playing basketball with our little neighbors, roller skating (at a rink – haven’t done that in forever!), hiking, and shopping all day long. It’s a lot of walking! :)
