Sunlit Lunch

It is absolutely beautiful today! I am loving the spring sunlight pouring in through the windows.  My head is feeling a lot better – I think the combo of good food and Aleve works well for me  :)  It’s not completely gone, but I am feeling much better than when I woke up this morning.

At least I’ve been getting stuff done! I washed the sheets today and did a little cleaning up around the house this morning – just so I could feel like I contributed something while being at home today! I also ordered a heart rate monitor for me today! We found one that was a really good price on Amazon and ordered one last week to see if we liked it – well, we both love it so I went ahead and ordered another one so we wouldn’t have to fight over it   :)   This one does not have GPS, but it comes with this little food pod you clip on your shoes so you still know how far you went – and it came with the USB port, too. I couldn’t believe we found it for so cheap. I’m excited for mine to get here!!!

Lunch today was so colorful and bright!

I had some of my free veggies from yesterday, plus a grilled chicken/cheese quesadilla.

Melty cheesy goodness.

I know I’ll be having a snack soon because I’m already feeling a little hungry and we’re going to try to go for a run once Nick’s get home so I’ll need some fuel in my belly!

What’s the best movie you’ve seen lately?

One of the best ones we’ve seen in the past couple of months was Defiance with Daniel Craig (aka, the new 007). It’s this amazing true story about brothers that help save 1200 Jews by living in the woods during WWII. It was probably one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, actually.

The quesadillas look so cheesy and good!!! Congrats on finding a deal on a heart rate monitor you like. I really love mine. Sometimes I’ll keep going just because I like to end on a round number. It sounds like yours has some cool extra features too! :-)

The best movie I’ve seen lately is probably Slumdog Millionaire. I haven’t been to many movies lately, and I don’t think anything I’ve seen recently has trumped that one!

Mmm…your quesadilla looks good. What did you put in it? Best movie I’ve seen recently was Slumdog Millionaire but it’s been awhile since I’ve been to the movies or checked one out.

At first I thought you were going to say the new James Bond was good (Quantum of Solace)… which was TERRIBLE! But I heard Defiance was really good. :)

I recently watched Fargo from Netflix for the first time and really liked it.

I wanted to see Defiance, it looked really good!

I just saw Harry and the Hendersons…now, I know its from the 80s but I wasn’t in the country to see it, so I’m allowed to catch up :) It was so amusing!
