Chocolate and Breakfast

Not at the same time, sadly….just in the same post.

I did try 2 of the chocolates from the Amish market last night and they were both awesome – this place makes the best chocolates!

One was a Dark Chocolate Bunny with Hazelnut Oil and Walnuts.

The hazelnut oil in this gave it such great flavor all throughout the chocolate, and the walnuts were the perfect amount of crunch.

The second chocolate was a pistachio toffee in milk chocolate.

After:

I think one of the best things to buy at this place is their toffee – it’s not hard to bite through and is sooooo buttery and smooth. The pistachios were a great addition.

Bob made biscuits this morning  :)  He makes the best biscuits!

I had one biscuit, 2 slices of turkey bacon, coffee,  and 2 plums…..and I might have had 2 mini apple muffins, too  :)

All of my family just left to head back home  :(  It was so fun seeing everyone this weekend!  and Happy Birthday to my Uncle Marlowe!  :)

We’re off to church, then hitting up Costco and Martin’s and maybe a spinning class(?) before we head home.

Enjoy your Sunday!  14 more hours to enter the giveaway!

  10. On the topic of chocolate, I just sampled my first delicious agave-sweetened chocolate bar tonight. Four ingredients: cocoa, agave, vanilla and sea salt. It was outrageously good. I had prepared myself for a weird flavor, but this one of the best dark chocolates I’ve ever had….

  11. Ohh, the toffee looks really good. I’d like to find some of that in my easter egg this year! ;)
