…and we're back!

I love traveling to visit family, but there’s just something about being home  :) Nick and I are relaxing on the couch with Roxy and getting ready for the new Iron Chef – all the bags are unpacked, groceries are put away, and gym bags are packed for tomorrow.

Today was fun, but very busy!

Nick’s mom and I went to Costco before church so I could get some detergent and a few others things I needed. After church, she and I went back to their house and changed into our workout clothes so we could go to the spinning class she had been telling me about. I had never tried spinning until today, and I really liked it! It was a tough workout, and I worked up a mean sweat :) I may have to start going more.

Since we didn’t have time to eat lunch before spinning, we didn’t eat lunch until around 4 pm! I was so hungry after spinning and so was she, so it was a good thing we had good leftovers in the fridge for a quick lunch.

I had a few small crab cakes, a salad, some potatoes cooked in a little olive oil, and a slice of this amazing rosemary olive oil bread we bought.

Of course….on the way out of town, we had to stop by Kline’s. It’s this local ice cream place that has the best soft serve. They always have vanilla and chocolate and one flavor of the week – this week’s was Mint Chocolate Chip, so I got a small cup of that.

yum  :)

No real dinner tonight – since lunch was so late and we got ice cream, I’m not horribly hungry. I may have some popcorn during Iron Chef….

Hope you had a great weekend!  Winner of the contest will be announced tomorrow!
