Good morning! Thanks for all the notes on making it to 100 posts! I had no clue I was that close yesterday, but I love that I’ve made it this far and am still having fun :)
Here’s to another 100 – and beyond!
Breakfast today included some of my favorites – this meal holds me for a while, which is good for buys work days.
Eggs and Grits
1 kiwi, 4 big strawberries, and a palmful of raspberries
A cup of milk
Plus some awesome home brewed coffee, courtesy of Nick. With a splash of fat free milk.
Today is super, super busy again – I guess I should just get used to it for this week.
Question for today:
Is there something you make at home that’s almost always better than when you get it somewhere else?
I love coffee, and our coffee is always best at home – especially when Nick makes it! If I want a latte or something, I usually get those out, but I have never found a place that just has great brewed coffee.
Have a good morning! See you later for some fun posts :)

good morning!
homemade = PASTA! I never, ever buy pasta at a restaurant because I love love making my own tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes and herbs :-)
Lovely fruuuuit!!
That eggie looks just waaaaay to good. I would do anything to be able to take pictures like you. Well, I guess not anything but I sure do wish I had your talent in this pic taking arena. Thanks for the cool post.
Thanks everyone! Jason, It’s the beauty of a macro setting on my camera :)
Vani – I like making my own sauce too!
YUM!!!!
I love making my own chili. I just never think that anyone else’s, except my mom’s, is as good as mine!
I am the same with lattes. We had an espresso machine, but it was never the same as an iced latte from Caribou Coffee. my absolute favorite drink!
Mmm..chili is a good one, too.
I would love to make my own lattes and such, but they’re so good at other places :)
I’m the same way about coffee, but also about tomato sauce, I get it out at some places, but I love spending the time to make my own. Definitely tastes different.
I keep craving grits everytime I see them on here!
