Since I started the Heart Health series at lunch, I thought I would just do lunch + dinner in one post tonight so you wouldn’t have picture/info overload :)
Lunch was the last of the Tandoori Chicken, Apricot Couscous, and some steamed veggies
and an apple, to round out the meal.
I was starving this afternoon, so I also had about an ounce of mixed nuts (mostly raw almonds under the salted ones) to fill me up. That healthy fat does wonders for a hungry stomach!
We went running today! Yay! It wasn’t warm by any means (mid forties), but much better than yesterday. I had a banana this afternoon to see if that helps with the cramp situation.
The Verdict? I still got cramps, but Nick said I should try again and eat it a little earlier than I did today. So, we’ll do another experiment with it and see if it helps. I got a bad cramp a few minutes after we started – then we stopped to look at a map about 15 minutes in – after we started up again (about a minute later) the one cramp was gone, but then I got one on the other side near the end. Maybe I’m just cursed?
Since we were going to our friend’s house for group tonight, we packed dinner to eat in my office on those lovely, fancy paper plates.
I mean, really. Isn’t this design just beautiful?

Hooray for Tuesday being over, and hooray that this is my 100th post! I can’t believe it :)
