So, just about every morning, I see lots of other bloggers putting almond butter ON their oatmeal.
Well, I decided to try it this morning – now I know why they keep doing it!
This bowl had:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup water
- pinch salt
- tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1 Tbsp sliced almonds mixed in
- about 1 Tbsp crunchy almond butter on top
Yum! The almond butter gets all melty, and the flavor is amazing with the oatmeal.
I will definitely be doing this again!
