Well….not for real.
I’m having some bloodwork done in the morning so I can’t have anything after 10 pm except water or black coffee.
My last supper was great!
I was planning on making Chicken Cacciatore, but changed my mind this afternoon and went with this instead:
On the side, I made an Asian Veggie Pasta Salad (Serves 4):
- 1.5 cups dry whole wheat pasta, any shape you have
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, peeled and shredded
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1″ piece of ginger, chopped
- 1 tsp chili paste – hot! :)
- lime juice
Cook pasta to your liking.
Steam broccoli (covered with plastic wrap in bowl) in microwave for 5 minutes. Toss broccoli with cooked pasta, carrot, and scallions.
Mix soy sauce –> lime juice and toss with pasta mixture. Enjoy!
I just had 3 no bake cookies and a cup of milk for dessert – I made sure to save room for these!
I’m off to try (again) to download some yoga classes; I’ve had trouble before, so I’m hoping I can download a few tonight!
Enjoy The Office! I can’t wait :)

That pasta salad sounds great.
I want some no bake cookies!!!!
Beadie:
You should make some! I used to make 1/2 a batch in college so I wouldn’t have so many hanging around :) They’re so easy to make – and good to bring to the office so you don’t have too many left at home :)
YUM!!!
I’ve been thinking… I should make you a snazzy header like mine and Beadies :)
Pasta looks amazing! And love the cookies! I want cookies now!
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I was checking out your recipes page and found this Asian salad. I made it the other night and it was really good! Thanks so much for sharing!
